    • CC10428 RN Case Management/Discharge Planning position at University Hospital in Jackson, Mississippi.
    • Must have experience as an RN Case Manager with at least 2 years in Acute Care Management/Discharge Planning in the ED.
      • Job Requirements
      • Must have at least 2 years of Acute Care Management/Discharge Planning experience in the ED.
      • Experience must include a minimum of 6 months at a level 1/level 2 or busy trauma center ED.
      • EPIC charting experience is required.
      • Prefer RN, BSN; would consider ADN.
      • CCM preferred but not required.
        • Schedule Information
        • 5x8 hour shifts, non-negotiable.
        • M-F 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
        • No weekend requirements.
        • Holidays rotated as needed.
          • Unit Specific Information
          • Will cover all inpatient units throughout the hospital.
            • Additional Details
            • BLS certification required.
            • 50 mile radius rule for travelers.
            • Local candidates accepted - local rate is $68.
            • FLU vaccine is required at UMMC with only medical exemptions allowed.
            • Fingerprint requirement - remote process must allow 10 days; in-person can be done at Jackson or Grenada campus the week prior to start.
            • Department does not have a CM Manager at this time; will report directly to the Social Work Manager.
