General Position Statement:
This position will support and maintain the integrity and
reliability of the organization's HRIS, ensuring that applications
meet the Company's needs, requirements, and objectives. The
position will also provide innovative workflow recommendations to
streamline processes and reporting metrics for the Company.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Collaborates with HR staff and organizational leadership to
determine the short- and long-term department and system
objectives; develops a plan to automate HRIS applications, modules,
and systems to meet Company objectives.
- Assesses current system and utilization; identifies and
recommends improvements, such as training, customization, and
enhancements to maximize the HRIS's value and efficiency.
- Serves as representative and liaison between HR, Payroll,
information services, external vendors, and other stakeholders for
HRIS design and implementation projects.
- Identifies, recommends, and programs custom functions and
documentation such as automated queries, filters, and reports.
- Provides user training and hands-on support.
- Ensures system compliance with data security and privacy
requirements.
- Maintains knowledge of trends and developments in HRIS
providers, vendors, and technology.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Maintains a thorough knowledge of Bank products, services,
policies, procedures, and appropriate regulatory issues related to
daily job functions, including but not limited to the Bank Secrecy
Act, Privacy Act, Fair Lending Act, Regulation E, etc. Completes
required compliance training and adheres to the Bank's standard of
conduct.
- Participate in the bank's High-Performance Rewards Connections
program.
- Make referrals to the Mortgage Department and Wealth
Management. Position Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree required.
- Three years of experience with HRIS business systems
required.
- Information Technology Certifications preferred.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Thorough understanding of functional analysis and system
design.
- Thorough understanding of all areas of information systems with
highly technical knowledge of at least one commercial HRIS
product.
- General computer and typing experience with Microsoft Office
Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. BankPlus is
