Revenue Integrity Coding Specialist

Job Description:

A company is looking for a Revenue Integrity Coding Billing Specialist to provide revenue cycle support services remotely.

Key Responsibilities

Resolve assigned claims with Revenue Integrity pre-bill edits and denials
Review clinical documentation to confirm and apply appropriate coding
Maintain knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer billing compliance guidelines

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High School Diploma/GED and 5+ years of relevant experience
AAPC or AHIMA coding certification
Experience in ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS Level II Coding
Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party payer billing requirements
Understanding of hospital charge description master coding systems
