Description:TITLE: Manual Machinist DEPARTMENT: Engineering REPORTS TO: General ManagerESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design and fabrication of tools/test equipment.
• Maintain workspace, facility, and equipment as delegated by GM.
• Other responsibilities as delegated by the GM.ESSENTIAL TASKS/DUTIES:
  • Design non-complex tooling using paper drawings if and when needed.
  • Fabricate tooling/test equipment.
  • Work with R&D personnel in complex tooling design when assistance is needed.
  • Other task/duties as delegated by the GM.
    Requirements:SKILLS REQUIRED:
    • Read, Write, and speak English
    • Basic Mathematics
    • Basic mechanical and electrical aptitude
    • Ability to read measuring tool such as, Calipers, Micrometers, Dial Indicators
    • Ability to read and interpret technical data/drawings
    • Ability to Engineer tools and test equipment using a sample part
    • Tig Welding
    • SolidWorks CAD softwareEXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
      • 5 years manual machining experience required
      • 1 year tig welding experience requiredEDUCATION REQUIRED:
        • High School Diploma or equivalent.
