Job Description:
A company is looking for a Data Software Engineer, Support Data
Foundations.
Key Responsibilities
Identify data needs for operations, product, and tooling teams to
understand their specific operational and reporting
requirements
Design, develop, and own efficient and scalable data products and
pipelines for data-driven decisions
Build and refine data foundations, including infrastructure,
pipelines, and tools for stakeholders
Required Qualifications
5+ years of experience in Data Engineering or Software Engineering,
focusing on data pipelines or big data applications
Strong engineering background with a high interest in data
Proficiency in a scientific computing language (Scala or Python)
and SQL
Experience with full stack development languages (Ruby, Java, or
Go) and front-end frameworks (React)
Prior experience writing and debugging data pipelines using a
distributed data framework (Spark, Hadoop, etc.)
