Job Description:
A company is looking for a Pediatric Psychiatric Mental Health
Nurse Practitioner.
Key Responsibilities
Provide patient services as part of a virtual behavioral health
team using evidence-based medicine
Diagnose and assess mental/behavioral health disorders in pediatric
patients and formulate treatment plans
Prescribe medications and educate patients and parents on
medication management and side effects
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Completion of an approved nurse practitioner program with advanced
practitioner training and certification
Minimum of three years of professional nursing experience and two
years as a nurse practitioner
Licensed as an advanced registered nurse practitioner with
prescriptive authority in New York
Masters of Arts in Psychiatric/Mental Health/Nursing
Valid DEA and CDS licenses
