St. Joseph Hospice of Richland, MS is currently seeking a dynamic nurse leader, who is looking for an opportunity to have a direct, positive impact in the lives of our patients and direct care staff on a daily basis.Here's your chance to join our dynamic healthcare team at St. Joseph Hospice as a Clinical Supervisor RN!We offer you: a competitive salary, bonus incentives, health and dental insurance, generous PTO, retirement plan (401k), Company Car option and a real opportunity to grow.Responsibilities:Delivers direct patient care including initial and on-going assessments of the patientDevelops and implements the Hospice Plan of Care in conjunction with the other members of the Interdisciplinary Team (IDT)Provides education to patient/family on the hospice philosophy and care of the terminally ill patient and the patients' individualized plan of care.Works with Administrator/Director of Nursing to ensure appropriate staffing levels are maintained according to policyMaintains primary control and management of each patient and acts as the primary liaison between physician, patient/family and the IDTSupervises all patient care activity to assure compliance with current standards of accepted nursing and medical practice.Qualifications:Minimum of two (2) years full-time experience as an RN, either in oncology, an acute care setting with direct patient care, a long-term care facility, hospice or home health care.Current license to practice nursing in the state of MississippiCurrent CPR certification requiredHome Care Home Base experience preferredCurrent automobile insurance and valid driver's license, maintain transportation to be used for workExcellent patient assessment skills.Good oral and written communication skills with an empathetic and people-oriented personalityKnowledge of managed care principles, and regulatory guidelines (i.e., Medicare, Medicaid, TJC, ACHC)Proficient with technology and willing to learn new systemsExceptional People providing Exceptional Care.Don't miss this extraordinary opportunity to join our dynamic health care team!All inquiries will be kept confidential.
