  Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a--Travel RN - Med Surg 6 South Shift:--Days / 7a-7p, 12x3, 36 hrs/week Length: 13 weeksWeekend Requirement: every other or 2 weekends per month is standard, could be higher to meet--needs of departmentHoliday Requirement: rotate in with regular staff--Must work at least 3 of the following 6 dates: Thanksgiving, Black Friday, Christmas Eve, Christmas, New Years Eve, New Years Requirements:
  • MS License
  • Must have solid experience as an RN - 1 or more years level 1 trauma experience preferred or experience at a Very large medical center with a lot of surgeries/high acuity patients, must be comfortable with lines, chest tubes Epic charting experience is required
  • BLS, ACLSOthers:
    • # Beds: 32
    • Nurse:Patient Ratios: typical ratio for all medsurg units is 1:5 up to 1:6 at times, ratio would be adjusted down for higher acuity patients
    • Common diagnoses/Types of patients current INFECTIOUS DISEASE, also takes medsurg overflow
    • Float within skillset, all staff float between all medsurg units. higher acuity patients would be given to core staff
