Job Description:
A company is looking for a Medical Director for the National
Medicare Team.
Key Responsibilities
Provide medical interpretation and determinations for services in
accordance with national guidelines and policies
Review prior authorization requests, claims, and provider dispute
cases for outpatient services
Collaborate with team members and other departments to support
market-wide objectives and community relations
Required Qualifications
MD or DO degree
5+ years of direct clinical patient care experience post residency
or fellowship
Current and ongoing Board Certification in an approved ABMS Medical
Specialty
A current and unrestricted medical license in at least one
jurisdiction
No current sanctions from Federal or State Governmental
organizations
